Story
The modification takes place in a heavily altered penal colony based on the plot of the paper role-playing game "Bruderschaft des Schläfers". The events take place roughly two years before the plot of Gothic. The conflict between the camps is still young, and the Brotherhood, which has been in existence for three years, is just beginning to establish business contacts with Gomez. Still, this modification should in no way be seen as a prequel to the first. The storyline deviates from the original just as much as our role-play, and the world takes a completely different direction. In addition, the Brotherhood characters, who do not appear in the original, play an important role here. Many acts of violence have upset the delicate balance between the factions. In the hope of digging a new mine in the north, the guards of the Red Barons raided an old bandit hideout near the new camp and brutally slaughtered the convicts who were hiding there. Revenge was not long in coming. Attacks on the convoys tripled, and rumors spread through the colony that the bandits were working with a band of ruthless thugs to harass the old camp and reclaim the hideout. Ian, the caretaker of the new mine, continues to mine with the last of his strength. Moreover, as if the bandits weren't enough of a problem, his men are decimated by mine worms Meanwhile, the move between the camps has begun to mean certain death for members of one of the two camps. The roads of the colony are littered with the corpses of both sides. Only the Brotherhood, a mysterious sect led by the self-proclaimed prophet Y'Fishore, has managed to stay out of the fighting...
