"Gladiator" is a modification inspired by the famous browser game "Swords and Sandals" for the second part of Gothic. In it, we play as a young man named Romulus, who has been kidnapped from his village by the soldiers of the now reigning King Resenhart. He lost his family and friends in the attack, and vows revenge. The story of the mod takes place in the world created for this mod, without any reference to the kingdom of Myrtana. The story plays second fiddle in the modification, and the main focus is on arena battles, acquiring new equipment, training and the like, i.e. what we know from Swords and Sandals.
