The ship of the ambassador of the King of Lalván is sunk by pirates and the ambassador himself is sold into the arena of Ahssûn. He escapes the fierce fighting with the last of his strength and is thrown into the lower part of the city, where, although relative order is maintained thanks to recruits, there is pervasive poverty. Everyone here is on their own. Despite the situation, the ambassador must get to Duke Ahssûn as soon as possible and report to him. But the guardian of the gate to the central quarter will not listen to him. Will the battered ambassador manage to reach the duke?
What is Ahssun?
This is the name of both the capital city and the island on which our hero's adventure takes place. The player will take on the role of a royal ambassador from the mainland, but already during the journey the desires and fantasies of a comfortable life as an advisor to the local duke of the colony of Ahssûn will be nipped in the bud. Then it will no longer be about the desire to save the world, but to save oneself.
This is more than just Gothic 2.0
Same engine, but different content. Certain aspects of Gothic have been combined here with The Elder Scrolls and The Witcher to create something that properly unifies Legend of Ahssûn and creates its own game rules. More than 600 new models and 500 new textures have been created to highlight them. New monsters, animals, animations, music tracks, rendered videos, items used, professions, guilds, skills, scripting tidbits, and many other miscellaneous changes have also been carefully implemented into the mod over the years.
