The story of Odyssey takes place at the moment when the nameless hero leaves Khorinis and embarks on a journey to Myrtana. At the time, the main character of the modification, Roland, is staying in a Paladin naval fortress on Athanos as one of the recruits. The war against the orcs has bypassed this island by a wide margin, but still our hero dreams of becoming a paladin and decides to boldly confront the green-skinned. He decides to leave the island to pursue his dream, but not everything is as easy as it first seems. He has a long and thorny journey ahead of him and many exciting and difficult adventures. In the meantime, he gets to know the kingdom's enemies and their intentions. Their goal is to establish the rule of Beliar and enslave all the people, and if that is not possible, to destroy them. Roland soon realizes that it is not the destination that is important on his journey, but the path he takes. So he sets out on his chosen path and resolutely opposes the invaders and defends the independence of the people of the Myrtan Kingdom.

New Crafting system by Hedin (Part of Czech translation)

I have decided to put the crafting system into an open beta test. So far only Forge, Anvil, Alchemy, Grindstone and Bucket of Water have been implemented. I'm too lazy to do the rest. The plugin will only work in version 2.7.3, as some recipes are different there. In general the plugin should work correctly, but since there are a lot of crafting recipes, somewhere I could have just made a mistake in ingredients or availability conditions when filling it out. That's why I'm putting the plugin into open beta testing with the ability to switch between the old and new crafting system. One of the features of the plugin is that crafting can be invoked anywhere in the information view mode. You will be able to view recipes and ingredients, but the crafting buttons will not be available. The crafting panel itself will only be available when interacting with the corresponding resource (alchemy table, stove, ...).
Control works with mouse or keyboard. Control by means of the joystick:
KEY_K - Call the crafting system in information mode anywhere in the world (can be configured in gothic.ini)
Right Shift + KEY_K - Enable/disable the new crafting system. Useful if you need to see the old fashioned way what is available in the old crafting system in dialogs.
KEY_LBRACKET (left bracket [) - set half the current keyboard number KEY_RBRACKET (right bracket ]) - set the maximum keyboard number
KEY_LEFT - scroll categories to the left.
KEY_RIGHT - scroll categories to the right.
KEY_ESCAPE - closes the system
KEY_MINUS, KEY_EQUALS - scroll through available crafting systems in information mode (available outside crafting)
KEY_BACKSPACE - remove the last digit in the number of items. Digits 0-9 add a digit (if not exceeding the maximum)
KEY_DOWN(Enter) - create items.
Teleportation system for Odyssey (Part of Czech translation)

There are about 100 teleportation stones in Odyssey for all the islands, looking for them in inventory, constantly taking them off/on is hell even with my inventory having a separate tab for teleportation. :)That's why I created a convenient teleportation system that takes into account the teleportation stones Roland has and teleports the hero to the appropriate location. In each location, only the teleports available for that location will appear in the list. Requirements: Union 1.0m and Odyssey 2.7.3.

For a non-standard playthrough of one of the best mods, Hedin has made it possible to play together with the leveling pet Bagira
Summon can only be bought on Athanos from Kun if you haven't talked to him yet. If you have already spoken or are further along, the summoner stone can be inserted using Marvin. (ItRu_ShadowMount)
Features
- A health bar with the level and how much experience in percentage you need to gain until the next level.
- Ability to switch between passive and active mode. Useful if you need to calm down Bagir and "peaceful" NPCs. (CLAVESA_LSHIFT + CLAVESA_V)
- Ability to remove Bagheera in extreme situations (outside of combat) using KEY_LSHIFT + KEY_R.

Texture pack for Odyssey
For this mod, a texture pack was also created to improve the graphics of everything in the mod - better and nicer models of monsters, items, models, face textures and other things. Mod installation
ODYSSEA now has a new installer that has everything just like New Balance, so you don't have to download a million files and confusingly install it. So just install pure Gothic 2, the playerkit and download/install the Odyssea installer on that
Step one download the installer file , extract to one folder and run the EXE file and the install will begin. In the Installer, select English language
- Next you put next, accept the terms and conditions, you will find the path to the Gothic folder

WARNING - Due to the switch from the Russian version to the original German version, the English is now worse than it was on the older versions from me. Currently there are massively improved dialogues, Manually translated menus and stats and most of the quest names, the rest is google translations. I'll be playing Odyssey now and fixing and improving the translation, so if you want to wait for a slightly better version or play now - it's up to you

If you need to reduce or increase the size of the main menu and character stats, find the Gothic -> System -> Systempack.ini folder and edit the following values: ScaleMenusX=1224 ; ... menu size X, for auto scale, default is 640, in pixels. ScaleMenusY=968 ; ... menu size Y, for auto scale, default is 480, in pixels.
