esterday, the previously mentioned modification – Nyras Demo Demake – was released. This project brings the Nyras Demo from Unreal Engine into the Gothic 1 engine. The content is exactly the same as in the original demo.I won’t be adding it to the Myrtana website right away, as the site will soon undergo some simplification and updates (I’ll make a post about that later). For now, here’s the translated official description and the download links. The mod will be added to the website at a later time
Welcome to the Colony
A port of Nyras Prologue to the Gothic 1 engine.Step into the harsh and unforgiving world of the Mining Valley and experience the story through the eyes of Nyras in the familiar atmosphere of the original Gothic.
In this short adventure offering a fresh perspective on the immersive world of Gothic, you will embark on a mission that introduces the mood, iconic characters, and the game's opening area.Explore the Colony at your own pace – talk to fellow inmates, uncover secrets, and engage in combat for a glimpse of what's to come.
This prologue takes place before the Nameless Hero arrives and the original Gothic 1 storyline begins. It allows you to visit recreated locations known from Nyras Prologue.
Tips
We recommend playing without DX11 and plugins – just like the very first time you played Gothic.
