NFA (for NB) adds new animations for goblin weapons and axes + two-handed hammers at skill level 90+.
There are 3 VDF files in the archive: AXEMASTER_MOVES - 90+ axes, ORC_WEAPON_MOVES - goblin weapons, ORCS_AND_AXES_MOVES - 90+ axes and goblin weapons. This is done so that you can set the animations separately according to your preferences: if you like orc animations, use only ORC_WEAPON_MOVES, if you like both - ORCS_AND_AXES_MOVES.
Installation: move one of the VDF files to the DATA folder.
A little about animations:
The tactic was to hit faster, hit the extension quickly and hit the combo first (i.e. hitting at the expense of speed). I tried to modify the new animations so that you can land 2 or even 3 hits, with no more speed than in the original. I was able to implement this through the W + A + D attack. The strikes are flowing and in my opinion very suitable for axes. Orc Weapons - also had the halberd animation (and the spear in the master). But the orc weapons also had large swords, and the hero hit with a blade grip (the side strike started with a blade grip). I tried to match the animation speed to the halberd speed, but it doesn't save from the first strike combo being a bit slower. There is one more feature though - almost immediately after the first strike of the combo, you can land another +3rd strike. There are only 3 strikes in a combo, so in battles with orcs, humans or undead it's better to do 3 or 2 strikes and go on the defensive until the next strike window.
