We wanted to implement some thoughts and ideas on a new difficulty (plugin), where the player will need to think and plan their progression more carefully.
The difficulty is aimed solely at very experienced players.
It will be available as a separate plugin.
The plugin will be compatible with any difficulty.
The plugin will be compatible with any SnC
The plugin will be compatible with Wrath of Beliar.
There will be around 35–50 points on the list of changes.
On this difficulty, there won’t be exaggerated % increases to enemy health or anything like that (with a few exceptions).
Some locations will be locked by chapters, so it will no longer be possible to overlevel and defeat everyone in Chapter 2.
There will be a resource scarcity, such as herbs and scrolls.
There might be special features regarding enemies (changes in behavior), but that hasn’t been decided yet.
The divine gifts that normally boost stats will be changed.
Several significant innovations will be introduced (no spoilers for now).
There will be no options for easing the difficulty or personal customization.
Many specific points aren’t mentioned yet; everything will be revealed once implemented.
Release date: October+.
A new game will be required.
The plugin will block any mods/mini-patches/patches. Even simple patches may not work. Exceptions will only be made for inventory-related plugins and other plugins that do not affect gameplay or the game world. Auto-loot, locators, patches removing magic circle restrictions, randomizers, and Mage Rebalance will not be supported by the plugin.
