For those who have been around here longer, you probably know that we also follow updates for Spacer.NET, which is a world editor for Gothic 1 and Gothic 2. It’s a tool for modders where you can create or improve the game’s world and maps. This improved version, based on the old Spacer, is the work of Liker (the author of the New Balance mod). In collaboration with him, I translated Spacer.NET into Czech. However, I translated it as someone who has practically never used the editor and isn’t a modder yet. So, I just want to appeal to any modders out there- if you use Spacer and find any mistakes or see anything that could be improved, feel free to make a list and let me know. We can fix it at any time. :)
Now for the updates:
When working with DX11, helper vobs now have textures (thanks to Jr for the code).
When launching Spacer, in addition to the resolution, the DirectX version (7 or 11) is now displayed.
The function for pasting coordinates from the clipboard now works better.
For the field zCZoneZFog, the color is now displayed in the vob property window interface.
When deleting a vob that contains nested vobs, a confirmation window will now appear.
In the camera coordinates window, you can now copy the currently entered camera coordinates to the clipboard.
You can find Spacer.NET on the website in the menu under the "More" section – direct link here:
